Questions

Questions about Onyx

Will my horse take it?

Onyx is poured over the regular feed and coats it evenly, so there is nothing to sift out. If your horse won't take it within 30 days, we refund your order.

How long until I see a difference?

Hoof horn grows slowly from the coronet down, so new growth takes months to reach the ground. Onyx is made for continuous daily feeding.

How long does one bottle last?

32 days at one fluid ounce a day for a horse. For ponies at two thirds of an ounce, 48 days.

Can I feed Onyx together with Derma?

Onyx and Derma share several ingredients, among them MSM, methionine, zinc and biotin. Choose one: Onyx for hooves, Derma for skin and coat.
